The Zia sun symbol comes from the Zia Pueblo and represents the sacred number four. The four groups of rays symbolize the four directions, four seasons of the year, four times of day, and the four stages of life. Together they represent balance, harmony, and the continuous cycle of life—without beginning, without end.
We are also proud to share that 19TWELVE has received the written blessing from the Zia Pueblo to respectfully use the Zia symbol in our designs, allowing us to represent this powerful symbol with honor and cultural respect.
